x( but I did tell him we all missed him and wished his family well.

His stock went WAY UP here in Iowa (I found that at our County and District Conventions that many of the folks there had originally been Biden supporters - the 'old school' Dems) I hope he comes back here to visit soon.

9. As summer approaches flats will be worn more often

but truth be told, Mother Debi went on a 'after the holidays' shopping spree and purchased me two pairs of black knee-high books (one pair Ralph Lauren w/a 4" heel and the other Nine west 2" heel) I can't wait for winter so I can wear them!

I did wear a really cute pair of flowered canvas/natural leather sling-backs the other day - but the pattern is such that I can only wear them w/the jacket I bought them to match or an olive-colored suit that also goes well with them. Maybe once or twice a month tops.

I wore those lovely red Chinese Laundry heels to the district convention in honor of Sen. Biden! :P

I've gone back to the Iowa Forum and The Lounge mostly now that this thing is winding down (finally) - just that jackass w/the 'bankruptcy bill' comment brought the memories Flooding back in!!
