Obama supporters and Hillary supporters are actually in agreement about Biden.
Amazing!

3. that was a really nice post - I'm leaning more toward Biden as VP |
|
if he's willing. Don't like anyone else as much or see how anyone else could help him as much. Either VP with a lot of power and influence (which seems true of recent VPs) or Secretary of State, again with lots of influcence.

probably because I think we need him as Numero Uno.
In an article, it says that his "people" intimated that he'd prefer SOS, but would probably say yes to VP if asked.
He was very forthright on this clip about that -- if you're asked, you just can't blow it off. But he says he doesn't see that happening which makes me wonder if he's already wrapped up the SOS position?
Having said THAT, I do think the Dem ticket would benefit IMMEASURABLY having him as the VP nom.

When I hear "Biden" and "VP" in the same sentence, its like nails on a chalkboard. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure that Obama knows who his VP is going to be, as well as other key positions. It could be that Biden is already his first pick for SOS. We'll see - all the attention that Biden is getting could affect any decision that Obama makes.
You know, when Biden was running for president, he was the Invisible Man! Now the media can't get enough of him!!! "OMG, a prominent senator said 'bullshit'. That is breaking news!" We all know that Biden has been outspoken for a long, long time, but the media just ignored him.

Remember when they had a clip of Biden on a show re: Pakistan or something where they turned to him for his expertise, then moved to the presidential campaign segment of the show, and Biden wasn't even MENTIONED?!?! He was still in the running, was regarded highly enough to get his take on whatever the foreign affairs issue was (none of the other candidates were asked for their input) -- yet TOTALLY IGNORED when, mere seconds later, the panel was discussing the presidential race! :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:
No one can dispute the role the media has played in determining who our candidates are.

I remember many times yelling at the TV, "But what about Joe?" Geez! Richardson got more coverage!

10. That was Matthews. I was so pissed at him. |

Had Biden on to talk about Bhutto's death, and then immediately went to talk about how Hillary was the experienced candidate.
What an ass. Msnbc has become a joke.
