1. Does ANYBODY know what the status of this is? Are we doing ANYTHING to |
|
begin implementing this plan?
Thanks for the link, Pirhana - it's certainly a confusing situation over there...

2. I think it is up to the Iraqi's. Biden asked to meet with Bush, but I haven't heard anything about |

3. Yeah, we all know how much Bush loves meeting with Biden |
|
I'm sure he needs a few shots of Jack beforehand.

4. Which one, bush or Biden, ha |
|
Al Sadr is Shiite and surly doesn't want separation. Maliki, Shiite, may be considering it, cautiously, since he wants total Shiite control but can see the writing on the wall. He may see a need to communicate and consult with other Iraqis.
The media doesn't find this issue important, as we have noticed. The foreign press may give us a clue or the Military Times type news.

5. Probably both, but more Bush |
|
We can't be sure that Iraqi leaders want what is best for the people. They may be trying to protect their own positions of power and also trying to stay alive.

9. Some people don't need booze to have fun! |

I'm quite sure Joe could be the life of the party without any help. He is hardly a shrinking violet.

10. He'd have to compete with my Dad to be the life of the party! He (Biden) |
|
is a delight to watch and hear, and he's got a fab sense of humor - he'd be welcome anywhere. I'm sending him my address now.
