1. I'm thinking the possibility of Joe being the VP (tinfoil hat time) |
|
is a real possibility because of the following: Barack and campaign hold their cards very, very close. No secrets leaked out of that campaign. Barack has been seen with most of the names bandied around, but not Joe. I'm also thinking if Joe is named VP, we really should plan to go to Denver. We were the original Joe Biden group, we laughed together and unfortunately we cried together too. I moved on but Joe is still in my heart.
Shall we think about this???

3. Hi there! I saw you out there. |
|
Joe is still in my heart as well and I want to see him get as much recognition as possible. Also I think he will be a major asset to the next administration. VP is actually starting to look good, though I know his talents far surpass that office.
Did you see the post about a poll in Iowa asking about Biden as possible VP?

5. No I didn't. I know a lot of people want him to stay in the Senate |

and I understand and agree to a point with that POV. It's just that Joe would be the perfect counter-balance to a young black man who might be afraid to say certain things, out of respect, out of not wanting to be the angry black man, you get my point. Having Joe as VP? Fabulous. Think also about the fact that four years as VP, maybe 8 if he wanted it, Joe would be wanting to retire anyway. Dems would have control of both the House and Senate...Hope I'm not rambling but wow, it just excites me to think about it... Correction, I did see that post, it was great.

15. I was just thinking that! It's really almost like the old days! |
|
HOWEVER, if he doesn't get VP (and I'm beginning to believe we NEED him in that slot now) I won't be AS devastated. I'm pretty sure Obama would let him have the SOS position.

It is so different than the presidential run which ended too abruptly. I think we will all be able to accept him in a different role.

9. Well, I thought it was a first come first serve thing at Mile High, |
|
but if you sent this thread to Joe's sister if you're still in touch with her, or better yet to Joe's office to convince him if he's offered VP he should take it...whew, he would be able to get us in I'm sure. Wow, tinfoil is getting warm....LOL
