This pattern by IMF is so familiar, it no longer looks accidental. If it were accidental that flooding a country with US subsidized agricultural products caused widespread poverty, destroyed the livelihood of native farm owners and farm workers, it would have stopped after the first time this happened, so we are left to assume the obvious.
