Oil tanker reported exploded in Malacca Strait
Pekanbaru (ANTARA News) - A crude oil tanker was reported to have exploded in the Malacca Strait between the border of Bengkalis in Riau Province and Tanjung Balai Asahan, North Sumatra.

"We heard from one of operators of PT Pertamina that a tanker has exploded in the Malacca Strait waters at the border between Bengkalis and Tanjung Balai Asahan," a team leader of the Bengakalis Marine Police Unit, first adjunct inspector Marton, told ANTARA here on Monday.
