Venezuela will not review evidence produced by Colombia
The Venezuelan government does not plan to examine the pieces of evidence that allegedly show that the rebel Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), are operating in Venezuelan territory. Venezuelan authorities consider that Colombia filed the complaint inadequately, said on Tuesday the Venezuelan ambassador to the US.

"(Colombia) merely showed (images from) Google maps, photos, and video recordings of people who were there, according to them," said Ambassador Bernardo Álvarez at a press conference.

Álvarez made reference to the material that Colombian Ambassador to the OAS Luis Armando Hoyos presented last week during an extraordinary session of the Organization of American States (OAS) to reject the alleged presence of FARC camps in Venezuelan territory.

According to Álvarez, Colombia should have presented privately to Venezuelan officials the GPS coordinates of the places where the FARC allegedly operate, rather than "turning this into a media show."

The Venezuelan envoy suggested that no Venezuelan agency has visited the specific areas located in the state of Zulia that were mentioned by Ambassador Hoyos last Thursday.

In other words, the Venezuelan government can not deny with any amount of certainty that FARC is there.
