LA PAZ, May 27 (Reuters) - U.S. company Coeur D'Alene (CDE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) will on Wednesday inaugurate the massive San Bartolome silver mine, set to produce 6 million ounces of the metal this year and ramping up to 9 million ounces a year from 2010, the company's Bolivian unit told Reuters on Tuesday.

For the remainder of 2008, San Bartolome will produce around 6 million ounces of silver, and a similar amount in 2009, but by 2010, the mine will reach full production at 9 million ounces of silver, said Edmundo Zogbi, the communications manager of Manquiri, Coeur's 100 percent-owned Bolivian subsidiary.
