Exonerated ex-CIA agent dreams of Cuban beaches

EL PASO, Texas -- An elderly anti-communist militant from Cuba acquitted of federal perjury charges says he hopes he lives long enough to visit his homeland's beaches again.
Jurors in El Paso, Texas, cleared 83-year-old ex-CIA operative Luis Posada Carriles Friday of all 11 counts of perjury, obstruction and immigration fraud.
Long considered ex-Cuban President Fidel Castro's nemesis, Posada said he no longer has political aspirations toward Cuba.
He says, "I see liberty at the end of my life." He also says he hopes Cuba can change enough politically for him to one day hit the beach there. Smiling, he expressed hope that the Lord would give him "a few more years" so he could return there.
