Greetings from snowy Boston! |
|
Most people I've spoken with are very committed to voting for Coakley. It's fascinating because in my home state of GA, no way would people get out in this weather and vote. Here, it's no big deal. However, there appears to be more Brown campaign workers on the streets.
Anyone else at ground zero?

1. I laugh every time I read about the snow worries... |
|
... I think, is this not Massachusetts we're talking about? Snow would shut down an election here in TN .... but New England? lol

2. Its like an everyday thing here. I once had to drive to work in the middle of an ice storm. |
|
It was just expected of you. I was an hour late, but I got to work. To me, the people on the shoreline are spoiled! Usually (though there are exceptions)they get inches and we get feet in terms of snow. Almost everyone on my street has a 4 wheel drive vehicle because I live in a hilly part of CT and we get a lot of snow at times.

11. and to me in the mountains of Northern Vermont |

what you get in terms of snow looks like nothing to us. It's all relative I guess. Oh, and on my country dirt road, only about half the folks have 4 wheel drive.

3. The polls were packed at 9:30am. 1 Brown volunteer, 1 Coakley volunteer. |
|
The Brown sign said something about texting him - not sure what that was about - if he's trying to get a vote count or if his signs always had the texting message on them.

9. Don't know what the rule is on that. The sign holder was definitely the correct |
|
distance away from the polls. I don't know what the purpose of the texting was - I was just guessing.

a pic my mom had sent of their old PA mountain cabin under 3' of snow- one of the guys from the deep south refused to believe it, swore it was a fake photo....long before photo shop, too - about 1968.

12. It's snowing in Boston? |

It's in the mid 40s in this area, but cloudy. Not bad for this time of year.
Good luck over there!!!
