1. They'll figure this out.
My hunch is that the markets will quickly figure out that this is a bogus unemployment number and then track downward.

Then, the Federal Reserve will inject some funny money to make it look like the recession is over.

But it isn't.

3. Some financial expert on the radio was saying that the figures are not good.
She explained that the drop off was due to the number of people who are no longer actively seeking employment and not because employers had hired more people. She added that in this case a higher unemployment rate would have been more positive because that meant that more people were seeking jobs. In other words, thousands of people have just given up finding work.
