But I'll bet they didn't keep Bo out there very long, lest he freeze his doggie backside off. No doubt he knows all the great warm places to rest in the White House, very like his predecessors Socks and Buddy.

11. that brings back a memory of a puppy I had--

We got her in winter and had to housebreak her by taking her out in the snowy cold many many times a day (not advisable to get a pup in the middle of winter!). Anyway, come Spring and she's still going out in the back yard looking for the ever-shrinking patches of snow, because she figured that was what she was supposed to pee on, not the grass! Too funny.

Eventually she got over it--had to when the last little bit of snow finally melted.
