Hello. My name is Writer. I live in Colorado.
Edited on Sun Feb-14-10 01:13 AM by Writer
If I were to stand in Denver one weekday afternoon in front of the building of a financial institution and, say, get as many Colorado DU'ers to stand with me with picket signs, would you take the time out of your day to demonstrate?

PS: I'm serious.

2. Will your signs be spelled correctly?
This is very important. Union printed signs are preferable. (We are Democrats you know.)

See these signs?

LOVELY. You wont see anything that expertly printed at a teabagger rally.

5. Obama will be there Thursday
Not sure what you're protesting, but if you want national attention, Thursday might be a good day to do it.

20. If you can't or won't be more specific, then I can't and won't commit.
I'll be in Denver that day, but I'm not going to protest a financial institution just because it's a financial institution. What's the point of that?

9. It depends what time on what day.
I could do a Wednesday or a small window of time on a Thursday, but I need my own paltry hourly wage too much to miss work. :( Which is really how the greedy corporations like to keep the system running: pay people too little so they have to worry about just living rather than being engaged and questioning citizens,

Now if you asked for a morning... I could be there every day but Friday. And I'd love to join you! :hi:

13. You know, if I still lived in Denver, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
However, my daughter lives in Denver, and while she might not be able to do it (she has a job), I'd be willing to bet that she could round up a bunch of her friends who would probably love to demonstrate. They are all young, liberal, mostly unemployed and MAD AS HELL!

I'll give her a call later in the day (she would never be up this early on a Sunday) and get back to you.
