Cheney endorses repealing DADT?

Perhaps the most interesting moment was his endorsement of repealing DADT. “The society has moved on,” Cheney said. “It’s partly a generational question.”

In a reference to current military brass who support repeal, Cheney added: “I’m reluctant to second-guess the military in this regard.”

“If the chiefs come forward and say, `We think we can do it,’ then it strikes me that it’s time to reconsider the policy,” Cheney said.

1. Amazing how bigots change when they actually get to know a gay individual.

I wish we had many, many more millions of gay people in this country than we do, so many so that every anti-gay bigot was forced, by sheer numbers in society, to get to know gay individuals.

Within 2 years, all the anti-gay hysteria crap (or most of it anyway) would evaporate.

If he or a family member needed health care and didn't have the means to pay for it, he would be for health care reform as well.

4. When Cheney was in power, all he did was cause misery

now that Cheney is out of power, he continues to cause misery but occasionally shows some humanity because he has a gay daughter. Fuck off Cheney.
