After warmest January in history, Vancouver airlifts in snow for Winter Games |
Anyone want to bet that after trashing Gore for his book this previous week we hear nothing about the fact that the Olympics are literally functioning without snow right now because Vancouver is having their warmest January on record? < http://thinkprogress.org/2010/02/12/vancouver-snow/>

1. The snow in the South and mid-Atlantic was caused by El Niño |
The lack of snow in Vancouver is probably caused by global warming.

5. Let's be clear: weather is not climate |
Its hard to extrapolate singular weather events as a part of climate change, especially during the event.
Personally, I think the eastern snow storm is better evidence of climate change than Vancouver's warm winter is, but I'm not making any conclusions yet.
