But he isn't fighting
How many people are applying extreme pressure to their members of Congress while they're blaming President Obama for everything?

Remember when everyon accused Kerry of not fighting

Remember in the Ukraine and Iran when the streets were filled with the guy who ran for President?

2. I know my Congress members phone numbers by heart.
I'm on a first name basis with almost every single staffer they have.

I still call at least once a week and they always know what I'm about to say. They KNOW me. I've DONE MY JOB!

How about we stop making excuses for a man that won't do his.

3. "They KNOW me. I've DONE MY JOB!"
Have you gotten them to do their job? If not, your job isn't done, and blaming Obama for them not doing their job is beyond ridiculous.

How about realizing that some members of Congress are the problem when Congress doesn't act.

5. As long as we blame any body but the guy in charge right?
I'm curious, do you tell battered women it's their fault too?

7. The President isn't "in charge" of Congress.
Get to know your branches of government.

11. You didn't answer my question.
And by the way, I know who the speaker of the house and the leader in the senate is.

If you don't know that one of the President main jobs is to wrangle congress and bend them to the will of the people, then you've been sleeping through the last 60 years. Tell me something, how did bush get what he wanted out of congress every single time?

Is he just better at the game than Obama? Or maybe Obama just doesn't give a shit about the People and he never has.

16. Good luck getting an answer.
The argument continues to be that presidency has no powers, not even to influence the congress when it's controlled by his own party.

If he can't do it, then maybe we need someone else to give it a try.

Stop making lame excuses, people.

21. In other words, you do think the President is a thug
You just want your thug in place.

But your problem with Bush was not that he was a thug. He just wasn't your thug. What you want is your thug in place.

Force is not your problem! You just want the force to be coming from your side! But you have no problem with the concept itself!

24. Yep. Bush got what he wanted from Congress every single time.
Like privatized Social Security back in 2005, with a repub majority in Congress, no less.

9. If they date one batterer, definitely not. If they date two, I hold my tongue
If they are in their sixth straight abusive relationship then it's time to look inward to see where the problem lies.

6. Don't think I haven't.
Just stop telling me it's my fault if my representative government won't do the job we sent them there to do.

This is the most ridiculous line of thinking I've ever seen on this topic.

10. Wait a minute, you're blaming Obama because Congress won't
do it's job?

Obama HAS done his job. The House has done it's job. It's the Senate that's the problem, as Rachel Maddow poionted out today.
Direct your blame where it belongs.

19. You mean, you aren't bored with "he isn't figthing" or
"Obama = Bush" or "Secret deal!!!"?

Funny how some people are only bored with posts about Obama that are postive.
