Pence pledges 'fair shot' for Democrats in minority if GOP wins back House
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/82439-gop-leader-pledges-fair-shot-for-dems-if-republicans-win-house

This shit is making me sick!!!!!!!!!

Republicans would allow Democrats a "fair shot" at participating in the legislative process if the GOP wins back control of Congress, a member of leadership said Saturday.

GOP Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-Ind.), the third-ranking Republican in the House, said that his party is committed to giving Democrats more extensive rights as a minority in Congress if Republicans win control of the House this fall.

"What Republicans are offering is a fresh start in Congress," Pence said in a brief video interview with the New York Times.

I wonder if it is going to as fair as the last time the GOP was in charge. We all remember how fair that was

6. More like they'd be forced to if they didn't want Obama to veto their bill
But you know that as soon as they get control of all branches of government again they'll start screaming "elections have consequences, you lost so we run things you aren't equals".

9. Like the last time around, eh?

I don't know what's more pathetic- Republican pronouncements that they have no intention of honoring- or Democrats who even with huge majorities still pander to the right and enable and legitimize their policies (thereby putting their majority status at risk. Again).

11. If they repeat it over and over and over again. And the complicit M$M repeats it over and over
again...

Then maybe it'll become the truth!

The M$M is colluding with the Repukes to ensure that they win again. It has an impact on the American political mind. If people believe that the Repukes will win in November, then perhaps they'll stay at home; or, vote for the winner. Americans have this thing about voting for perceived winners. :puke:

The Dems really need to hit back and hit back HARD!!!

12. Remember in January of 2008 when most of the site was counting these guys dead?

Democrats forgot the one principle rule of politics. The public doesn't like you, the hate the last guy, they like results.

Pity about 30% of the party was more concerned about getting their hands into the cookie jar.
