"If you already have health insurance, nothing will change."
I really hate this pitch of the health care reform bill.
My health insurance does not offer access to affordable medical treatment.
Why would I want my shitty coverage not to change?

I bet that I will be spending more on medical treatment this time next year..

2. I have pretty good medical insurance
The dental part is not good, but as far as medical insurance, it's a fine plan. Except the price of this coverage raises each and every year and has for the last seven years in a row. I sure would like to pay less and maintain at least the same, if not better coverage. That's the lament of a lot of people. Too damn expensive.

High deductibles, exclusions, no Rxs. This is from BC/BS of GA, the only one we can get because of pre-existing. If they raise it we can't afford it, can hardly afford it now.

Oops. No I can't.

I am trapped with my current employer plan, which is still OK, but keeps getting more expensive and more restrictive every year.

This "Reform" is an epic of failure.

they add no value- and not only do they fail to "produce health, but billions health care dollars are actually spent to DENY people care and worsen the public health.

Further enriching and empowering them will lead to nothing positive down the line.

Cause we all know, there is no "reform" at all in this for the vast majority of Americans.

As for the rest of them, they get FORCED to buy shitty insurance sold at a profit by the companies that own the government.

10. Well, for many if you don't have access to health care or ins.
nothing will change, either.

With states cutting medicaid it should be interesting to see the flood of the "new poor" middle class and long term unemployed workers trying to navigate an underfunded overburdened medicaid program.

Of course the whining from those with decent ins. regarding ongoing massive rate increases will drown that out easily.

43. well what happens if you are unhappy with your for profit insurance
My for profit insurance was fine until I got sick and needed medical treatment.
I need about $560 in treatment per month.
I have full health insurance - but this "insurance" does not offer access to medical treatment.

So what happens when this reform passes? What happens when you are not happy with your current for profit medical insurance?

Will this "reform" bill help me in any way to avoid disability and receive the medical treatment I need?

So is there any relief for me in this reform bill?

If the answer is "no", then why would providing 'for profit' insurance to millions of poor people be helpful - won't these people be just like me - unable to afford medical treatment although fully insured. (of course if they are healthy and don't need medical treatment, then they will be cool with their for profit health insurance)..

52. NPR played Obama's words
Obama was sayin that you get to keep your for profit medical insurance.

I am suggesting that I do not want to keep my current insurance, as it does not provide access to medical treatment.

When Obama says "You get to keep your current insurance" I think it is a pretty poor pitch..

I created a new OP - hopefully someone that support this HCR bill can explain how it will help me - or admit that it will not help people in my situation.

Is there any relief in the HCR bill? YES or NO!

I know he said "if you are happy with it"... well, I am not happy with it! Is there any help in the hcr bill or is there no help for me in the hcr bill..

If I am being Obtuse it is because I am in severe pain and I am trying to avoid becoming disabled. All I need is medical treatment in order to avoid disability.
I have health insurance, I do not have access to affordable medical treatment.

I don't mean to be obtuse - I just want to know if there is any relief for me in this HRC bill..

I am assuming that there is no relief of the HCR bill supporters would point out how the bill would help me to avoid disability..

but none the less, I wish a HCR bill supporter would answer the question that I asked in my OP -
Will I get any relief under the HCR bill or will I be forced into disability due to being unable to afford medical treatment while being fully insured?

I think I know the answer as all the HCR bill supporters refuse to answer the question -
all the anti-HCR bill people say that there is no help - - -
