The media suck

They did their best to try to frame this as a circus. The Republicans did their best to pretend they could ignore it.

Obama called it, warned against political theater, and now the major news networks are carrying it live and the Republicans are trying to look serious for the cameras.

The media know that the Republicans are getting their butts whipped and are being exposed. Now they're going to try to put their best GOP spin on the event.

Rows simmer below civility of Obama's health summit

The president however, profited from the theatrical nature of this rare Washington drama himself, striding into the talks beaming, as leading foes and allies stood as a show of respect ahead of his opening remarks.

Obama is challenging opposition Republicans to drop obstruction tactics and back his new 950 billion dollar plan to cover 31 million uninsured Americans.

I understand that they have commitments to the House and Senate. My tier doesn't include Cspan 3. So I put MSNBC on for the picture, put the mute on and put Cspan radio on for the audio. Works pretty well. I can't stand the way the pundits think they need to interpret it for us (and maybe insert their own spin in the process).

Is FOX carrying this? Or CNN? I don't want to turn on the former, and every time I turn on CNN they are having a commerical (as usual).
