1. If you have the public option, you don't really need Medicare
for those 55 and up. Medicare for all is another matter, of course. That would be the public option.

2. Whatever will help it get passed.
That should be a robust public option but that probably won't happen.

3. I don't see any 'Single Payer, Universal Health Care' for all citizens.
The so called public option is a loop hole to limit the damage to the insurance companies.

4. Single Payer.
I chose "something else". I know it won't happen, but you asked.

6. Medicare for all.
Even a Medicare buy-in, like Lie-Berman wanted till the Dems started pushing for it.

NGU.

9. Fuck this shit and go with single payer
The "public option" - as it was originally described by Howard Dean & Jacob Hacker - was a reasonable compromise that would have allowed the insurance companies to exist, and compete fairly.

However the insurance companies, as well as the admitted Repukes and the DINO traitors like Baucus/Nelson/Conrad/Lieberdouche/etc. have proven that they don't give a fuck about being reasonable.

So fuck 'em and do the right thing. Join the rest of the civilized world with a single payer system, and watch another Democratic landslide in both 2010 and 2012.

10. Anyone should be able to buy in to Medicare.
Medicare reimbursement rates for doctors need to go and all doctors/hospitals/clinics, etc must accept Medicare.
