how many pages were in the prescription drug bill passed by the Repubs. in the last Congress in the "dead of night"?
How many people knew that the vote was kept open for hours past the allotted time so that the Repub. leadership could "twist enough arms" to get it passed?
How many people knew how many pages were in ANY bill that was passed when the Repubs. were in the majority?
Why do we let the Repubs. get away with all of this? Why don't WE do that when WE'RE in the minority (and even when we're in the majority)?

1. Fortunately and unfortunately our side likes to play nice |

even when we are getting the shit kicked out of us.
I for one am tired of our representives caving to the minority....it's stale and it's old. Act like the majority and get the work done.

3. If only Bush/Cheney etal were charged with treason |
|
and other stuff it might open the floodgates to a lot more, but until they are held accountable by we, the people, through our congresspeople, they will get by scot free. I have been ranting for going on 10 years and the only way I can do anything about it is to vote. And I did. And then, Nothing.

4. Both sides in Congress serve the same masters |
|
With that in mind why would our side point out the failings of the Republicans?

6. Because what you are saying is simple and doesn't really |
|
answer the question.
The problem is the media, as they are the ones who fail to ask the questions, that they are in business to ask.
It has little to do with who is on what side in the sense that you assigning the same culpability to both parties, really is a inaccurate view; and as a Democrat, one which I find Naderlike.

It asked why our side (not the MSM) doesnt put up the kind of fight the GOP is doing as a minority right now.
So if Im wrong, you tell me..... why not?

and not one person (anchor) challenged them on that lie or any OTHER lie. I probably should've added that. I was certainly THINKING it as I wrote my OP.

9. How many taxpayer dollars have been lost on that bill? |
|
Just like NCLB, this bill has been a disaster.
