Dennis Kucinich may change his mind. |
|
Were his supporters wrong, and maybe the bill might be better off than we thought? Or might they realize he is just a politician? Or they might realize they were wrong?

Maybe Dennis got talked into it because poor insurance companies would go out of business, then many more people would be jobless thus bad for economy. Or maybe Obama reassured Dennis that this plan would be a step toward a single payer for all eventually AFTER they add on Public Option.
Actually a Public Option is right thing to do. It's so wrong to take it out. I would like to see their reason for taking it out. They've been hush hush on this one. First, we got votes, then no we don't have votes. Just quit lying. We're not stupid.

4. In the end, Mr. 'my principles' peacock may have to change his mind. |
|
A plane ride with Obama may be enough.
In the end, does Mr. liberal principles want it on his record that he voted against health insurance for 30 million people? And the end of pre-existing conditions for millions who can't get insurance for that very reason?
Time to step down from your shining white donkey, Dennis. And do something that actually impacts people's lives for a change.

9. OMG, negotiating? He's actually negotiating? |
|
But that's so not Dennis.
He's a man of unbending principles. Negotiating is for those....lowly legislators who sell their souls to get something done when that something is not perfectly in tune with their principles.
Dennis doesn't negotiate. He protest votes. That's all he does. Stands by his principles. A man of his own honor.
And doesn't get a dang thing done.
Check his record.

19. There's a time for everything. It's past time for negotiating. |
|
The Senate is not going to pass what he is "negotiating" for. That is the only reason Pelosi is not putting it in the bill.
He's not negotiating, he's grand standing because he knows as well as everyone else in Congress that it's too late for negotiating.

|

was payment for him vote "Yes" on HCR.
He traded away his principled/destructive vote on HCR for a principled/meaningless vote on Afghanistan. Principled/meaningless votes and motions are what Dennis is all about anyways.

16. If Dennis changes his mind, it may be because of the rumors of.... |
|
of a solid public option in the reconciliation bill. In which case he stood his ground until he got what his constituents wanted. Kudo's to him, if this is, in fact, the case.
For myself, I think the PO ship has sailed, and this bill is worthless without it.
