The boy that cried wolf and the republican party.
Edited on Fri Mar-19-10 04:40 PM by BlueIdaho
As we near the finish line we see a breathtaking level of desperation from the republican party. Each day, their party leaders spew new and more absurd claims conjured in the dark at their little shop of political horrors. All in the cynical hope that ignorance and blind fear trump all. "You know" they say...

"It has Death Panels."

"It will bankrupt the country."

"It will destroy Medicare."

"It must require a super majority to pass."

"It must to be rewritten from scratch to include our ideas."

"It uses archaic and unconstitutional rules to pass."

and now

"The CBO score is a lie."

and

"We have top secret Democratic memos."

As their claims become louder and more absurd will people soon realize the Republicans are just crying wolf?

6. No. No they won't. Their actions are going to backfire big time as
people, including long-time repubs are watching them. Neighbor (registered Repub.) mentioned to me she wondered when they all went nuts. If Repubs are disgusted with them..well, ya know.

2. The GOP in their zeal to promote Conservatism have been very
prone to overreaching. I believe they are dangerously close
to creating disbelief --always finding another "hook" to
latch on to and try to scare people.

One of the polls last week indicated the Independents do
not like the way the GOP are handling the issues.

5. If I didnt know better, I would say they all need 72 hours observation.
But, it is all the big lie, to be followed with a fascist regime, voting is overrated, totalitarian dictatorship.
