David Frum, who's been preaching moderation to the Republican Party, gets fired from the American Enterprise Institute.
"I do regret this abrupt and unexpected conclusion of our relationship," he writes in a letter of resignation.

12. There may just not be enough psychotics to go around... |

It would be an amusing irony if the windfall gift of geysers of corporate money from the Supreme Court ruling can't really be brought to bear because the party has gone on such a zealous bender of reactionary wrath that nobody but certifiable loonies could vote for them.
Gonna be an interesting year.
Still, I never count the trogs out, and a few unexpected events could sweep the crazies back into power. If THAT happens, they'll be so cocksure that they'll try anything.
At least their true colors are being shown to those with any sense.

According to Mike Malloy, Frum had to see the racism and antisemitism that permeates the right wing. so once he started talking there was no backing down.
He can join the "you're no longer welcome" club started by Christopher Buckley.

8. Frum actually sounds like a smart dude. |

He's a wingnut, yes, but he realizes that being slaves to Rush and Fauxsnooze is not the way the Republican Party should go.
I'd do like Bartlet did on "West Wing"--hire him.
