If the feds can prosecute those teens for bullying that girl

Seriously why cant we as a group sue the hate talkers on tv and radio... for bullying?
Why cant sarah palin be sued for suggesting people stop obama cars!
what if someone does that and gets killed by someone doing self defense?
According to all their gun laws they should have no problem with someone killing someone who assualted them in their car for an obama sticker.

1. It's not nuts to me.

Many defend those actions as freedom of speech, but I find that anybody who harms anyone and puts people in harms way because of hate speech should be held accountable. I think Sarah Palin should be arrested and charged with sedition for egging on her followers to do harm to others and especially to the President and other elected officials just like those White Supremacists were in Michigan for plotting to kill policemen. Stopping cars because they have Obama stickers puts others in harms way and indirectly attacks our President by attacking those who support him. Other industrialized western countries actually have laws against hate speech that can lead to harmful actions by others.

2. I believe that the issue is a little different than that.

Although I agree somewhat, as long as the Limbaughs of hate radio aren't literally calling for Obama's, or anybody else for that matter, then what vile shit they do is covered under the first amendment. Sad I know.

Now if they did come out and willfully call for acts of terror then they would be toast. They're crafty enough to word their hate with just enough deniability so that they can continue feeding the unstable right wingers with the grist for rebellion.

What happened to the girl would be considered more along the lines of harassment. Is you are harassed at the workplace and management did nothing to stop it then you would have a case.

Perhaps there should be a national bullying law that goes after politicos, but if that happened then it would have to cover all extremes. And we all know that FOX Noise would be screaming every day that they have been wronged and that this lib or that lib should be locked up.
