Dear GOD, I did not realize what exactly the President said about Rush and Beck.. I am shocked

I cannot believe that the President would stoop to such language and vitriolic attacks on people.

What may you ask did the President say?.. Did he attack their patriotism, their religious convictions, did he attack their parents verbally or question if they were even Americans?

"Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it's pretty apparent, and it's troublesome, but keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out," Obama said. "It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."

dislikes America and wants to destroy it. That was nothing compared to Obama's
bloodthirsty, sickening words that are like sharp knives thrown into a giant
butter sculpture of the American flag. He hates that flag!

And to suggest that some Americans know that he's trying hard? I can't...I can't...be a

If Obama wants to continue acting waaaaaay worse than Beck or Limbaugh--then I'm just done

On another forum I frequent someone posted the original comments by Obama and titled the thread "Obama's version of free speech." This, of course, implied something...something that isn't true or in the article (referencing the same comments). Point being: people can read the same thing and comprehend it completely differently. In this case, a right-wing hack read it and concluded Obama is anti-free-speech, which means he didn't really read it at all.

Same for Rush who perceives this as character assassination. It's like he didn't read or doesn't know the meaning of the words that came out of Obama's mouth. All he knows is it isn't positive. The rest is fabrication.

This kind of silly, dramatic, twisting of words is the right wing's forte. That applies to the tea-baggers too; I almost forgot the tea-baggers. I have to mention them separately because, you know, they're not right wingers.
