"We ALL want a bill. But we want a BIPARTISAN bill-not a partisan bill like the healthcare bill |

that was passed strictly on party lines and shoved down the throats of Americans." That was a paraphrase of Mitch McConnell this morning on State of the Union on CNN. Just like their "just say no" stance on health care reform, they're doing the same thing with financial reform. They claim they want bipartisanship and then refuse to vote with Dems. to PASS a bipartisan bill. :eyes:

1. No, what they want is NOTHING. |
|
They want things to stay exactly as they are. Just like with the health care bill. We're going to have to do this without them again.

They want "his waterloo" more than they want everything.

4. There is no such thing as bipartisanship. That must include two willing, reasonable parties. |

13. Yeah, that "health care bill" was partisan, alright. |
|
Problem is, Bitch McChinless, it was YOUR party. Whether or not you useless motherfuckers voted for it, it was a Repukelickin bill from start to finish.
As far as "financial reform" goes, there should be one standard and one standard only:
Would Franklin Delano Roosevelt pass this bill?
If the answer is no, then don't fucking bother.

We want a nonpartisan bill. There is a difference between bipartisan and nonpartisan. Bipartisan means it's good for both political parties. Nonpartisan means it's good for the country, but not "good for the parties".
