I'm with Joe - he is our BEST option at this moment in time.

3. This would be a significant win if Joe can pull it out. Arlen's been in |
|
the Senate since oh gosh, seems like forever -- since the Harding administration? Anyway, a long time.
My wish list includes a win by Joe in Pennsylvania and another by Halter in Arkansas.

7. I think the oppositie is true ... |
|
which is why Fast Eddie and the state party jumped on Specter like they did ...
But, I think Specter is a smarmy douchebag, and I am supporting Sestak for better or for worse ...
Have to have faith that a state that has seen the last three national elections go D by a good margin will see Toomey for the hard right lunatic he is ...

9. If "we" hadn't elected Santorum |

I would agree that PA residents could see him for the lunatic that he is. But we did, so I see very real danger here. Given the ads Specter has placed against Sestak, imagine what Toomey will do in the Alabama that is central PA.
I'm really torn here. I want to support Sestak, but Specter will beat Toomey, and he's been decent for the state, if not for the nation. (isn't there a hair-pulling smilie somewhere?)

8. It may not be true that if I post something again in this thread in |
|
favor of Joe he'll prevail in the primary against Arlen.
But I wish there were a direct correlation.
I'd love it if Pennsylvania Democrats showed Arlen the door and went with Joe against Toomey.

10. Specter is running a rather vicious negative ad against Sestak. |
