In fact, he's coming out against it forcefully, saying it's likely unconstitutional and not a good way to fight terror.

We will have to see exactly what Lieberman is proposing. It is deeply concerning that he would strip someone of their citizenship when they arrested, without a trial, in order to avoid Mirandizing them. Shame on Lieberman, if this is what he is proposing.

One of the biggest misconceptions out there is that you have to be US citizen to get Miranda rights. That's not true. Miranda applies even if you are not a citizen.
