what the HE@ is up with Kentucky?
and please let it continue!

The losing dem got more votes than rand paul? Yeah teabaggers, we are going to bag this one up in the General and the press better be as diligent in reporting over win over the teabagger as they were in reporting rand.

rubio, you are NEXT and scott brown your time is coming.

1. Apparently there are more registered Democrats in KY than Republicans...
... they just dont like Democratic Presidential candidates. (THIS time, I'm not counting them out for 2012, lol)

2. The two Dems in the primary
had more votes that all of the conservanazis in the primary. Go figure. The Dems had a great turnout.

Of course, we don't hear that from the media.

Kentucky Dems, go get 'em and keep up the good work. :kick:

3. Dems should concentrate on KY this fall
Lots of Dems here who have long felt neglected and, frankly, it's a lot less expensive than some other media markets. Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green and Cincinnati TV markets cover almost the whole state.

5. Teabaggers, in November we are going to dunk you in hot water,
steep you until you scream, then twist the string around you to squeeze out every drop of your very life essence.

6. It's usually 3:2 in favor of the Dems. in Kentucky primaries
is what Keith Olbermann said.

Rand v. Conway is the best situation for the Dems. though! <3

9. West Virginia is like that too. Right?
But in the South it's a whole different ballgame especially with the teabaggers claiming to be ordinary (real)Americans.

Dems need to expose rand and let people know what a teabagger-libertarian is really about. Yeah the POTUS is Black, but that MOFOer (rand) will take away the programs that they depend on to get through a fucking day.

Send that person to DC that will help that black man get you a damn J.O.B.

10. This is just a primary
and only registered Democratic voters can vote in the Democratic primary. In general elections, Kentuckians often vote for Repukes. Let's remember that McInsane won two years ago, and that Bunning and McConnell are Kentucky's US Senators.

Not sure why the majority of voters in that state register as Democrats, but they don't always vote that way on the big races.

11. Teabaggers scared the HELL
out of most REAL Americans and hopefully that includes Kentuckians.

By scared, I mean scared of the teabaggers complete stupidity (palin)and the possibility that any of them will be close to able to determine legislation.

13. Frankly, I expect quite a few of them to win in November
and show themselves on a national stage to be the asses that they are, helping President Obama regain a solid progressive majority in November, 2012.

Isn't it worth sacrificing a few dozen Blue Dogs to get a bunch of idiot tea partiers in there to show the country just who they are for the next couple of years? The President has already accomplished a lot, it just might take till 2013 for America to realize what that actually was, and to let him have the rest of his agenda in a second term, together with a Congress that does not have to be bribed with pork.

12. It's all about Louisville, Lexington and Democratic turnout. If those three conditions are in place,
the Dems do well. Louisville's congressman, John Yarmuth, is awesome!! A true progressive and a fighter. Doesn't have a long record in Washington, but he is up and coming in the party.

High turnout means that Dems win.

If Conway can peal off a few Independents and mainline Republicans, Dems win.

17. The good news; the turnout, Conway beating the phony Mongiardo, the
Republicans are stuck with the carpetbagging, aptly named Rand Paul. He is ignorant about the state. Big coal will back him. I believe he will fail in the general to hold on to this long time Republican seat. We need the DNC to spend some real money here this fall and it would be nice if Obama would deign to drop in and help Conway. A lot of Kentuckians had their feelings hurt when the campaign ignored the state. The bad new is it looks like Ben Chandler will face a real challenge holding the KY 6th with a strong challenge from the further right in Andy Barr. Chandler has pissed off everybody. He voted for cap and trade which will cost the state billions, and voted against HCR which pissed me off so bad my hair still hurts. I'm glad for his cap& trade vote but health care is needed by his constituents and he ignored it. This Barr guy looks like a typical GOP lawyer type. He seems to be lot further right than it appears on face. The DNC must help this time. I think it will turn out well in the fall. Peace, Richard

21. I don't know if an appearance with Obama will help
Outside of maybe Louisville (which Conway will own anyway) or Lexington (which Conway, again, will probably win big in), an Obama stop will not be much of a boost. More $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is what's needed.

19. If you look at Kentucky from the Republican voter's point of view,
Rand Paul is a step up from Jim Bunning. He can't win the general though.

20. More registered Democrats because of local races
Plus, you have to have chosen your party on the registration months ahead of time - you can't just ask for a particular ballot the day of the primary. This whole "Dems got more total votes" thing is a red herring inspiring false confidence.
