Rand Paul Refused to Take Concession Call from Grayson

Paul Refused to Take Concession Call

After winning Kentucky's Republican Senate primary last night, Rand Paul (R) refused to take the call of congratulations from opponent Trey Grayson (R), according to Grayson's campaign manager, WCPO-TV reports.

Interestingly, a GOP "unity rally" is scheduled for Saturday which both men are supposed to attend.

7. I would vote against him for that alone.

Grayson refusing to MAKE the call would be classless, but somewhat understandable. Refusing the TAKE the call defies description, and reveals far more about Paul's character than any of his campaign positions.

8. Well, apparently Paul's campaign manager said he was unable to take the call.
Paul's campaign manager, David Adams, tells 9 News, "Paul did not refuse Grayson's call. He was in transit and could not take the call."

Adams went on to say, "This sounds like a made up problem." http://www.kypost.com/content/wcposhared/story/Campaign-Manager-Rand-Paul-Refused-Graysons-Call/4ySo1O6X002sD-bHqhyNyQ.cspx

Nice spin there Adams.

10. "He was in transit and could not take the call"

Someone should let Paul know about this nifty little invention called a 'cell phone'.

16. Rand Paul marks the end of the modern GOP and the beginning of
a new political movement hopefully headed nowhere. Mainstream Republicans have no where to go and it is their own fault. Mainstream GOP's lies and willingness to say anything to win created the TeaParty baggers who were not swift enough to see that the mainstream GOP was just playing a game to win power and didn't really mean all that ugliness they spewed forth at election time and in Congress. Now mainstream Republicans are stuck with these "true believers" on the far right who, as represented by Rand Paul, appear to be incoherent followers of emotion driven nonsense who have no use for those "unpatriotic" mainstream Republicans.

26. Palin/Paul 2012
Mark it down.

There will be no minimum electoral vote winner (requires 270 for presidency). The winner (the President) is thus chosen by the House of Representatives.

The 2012 election winner will be Hillary Clinton, chosen by the House of Representatives.
