The DC press corp is "Shocked! Shocked!"
Edited on Thu Jun-03-10 09:51 AM by ProSense
Granted the administration has been ham-handed in how it has handled some of this stuff, but isn't it ironic that a DC press corps that could barely muster a collective yawn when Karl Rove was moving U.S. Attorneys around like political pawns, is hyperventilating about the White House making it known to potential candidates that there are other ways to serve beyond being a Senator?

1. One set of rules for Repubs, another for Dems.
This has been going on since Clinton or probably before that.

2. Rather unreal, isn't it. Double standard? What fries me is
there's so much to actually concern themselves with, and this is what's getting their attention? Ugh. That 'librul media' disappoints yet again.

3. Didntcha know. The Corporate Media drank the GOP Kool-Aid. and
those who did not fear for their "corporate" jobs. Taking
Republicans to task in the same degree as Democrats could
cost their means of earning a living.

5. They are Media Mafia at its best

One thing you can say for the Rethugs, when they want a LIE to stick, they put it out there and make it stick.

Stick even in the minds of some Democrats who should know better.

Democrats rarely know how to stick together ~ Rethugs do.

6. It's hard to know better if one never questions the motivations of the Media Owners
Informed Citizenry or Consumers of News Products?

You can't have an informed citizenry if the press has failed as badly as it has in these united states.

Also, I find that "sticking together" is not a trait that I find endearing in republicans...
its indicative of mental conformity and uncritical thinking.

7. They stick together IMO
They are sticking to the Media and for sure ROVE worked his magic and managed to get away with all of it.

GW was an idiot and he held the Media and the Rethugs in his hands the entire time. Of course he had Cheney and Co with him.

How anyone can't see through Sarah Palin is beyound the imagination. But ~ there are many out there that do.l

Just my opinion.
