POTUS statement on Ark. tragedy
A statement from President Obama on the Arkansas flash flood that killed at least 16 people, with over 70 still missing:

“Michelle and I would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives during this horrible flash flood, and we offer our prayers for those who anxiously await news of loved ones still missing. State and local first responders continue their critical life saving efforts on the ground. I have instructed FEMA to be in close contact with Arkansas Emergency Management officials and to report back concerning any unmet needs; and I will ensure that FEMA continues to coordinate with our state and local partners throughout this tragedy. When natural disasters strike, our first responders are on the frontlines providing emergency assistance and keeping our communities safe. Many of them are showing true bravery today and for that I thank them. “

1. If I were a small minded christo-fascist.. I would think God was mad that Lincoln won the run-off.

6. Well, I'm sure that He is......
You know.... "thou shalt not steal" is on His Top 10 list. But I doubt it had anything to do with the flash flood. If God operated like that, Florida would have been permanently destroyed some time around December 12, 2000. And I'd be really nervous if I were in South Carolina.... O8)

8. We've had our share of disasters from financial to hurricane's and now
the current Oil Gusher.. I think we've gotten ours.. Sadly, I didn't live here during 2000... Just paid the consequences since 2002.

7. It's coming...I just stopped by and read that he's a 'con man' and
the presidency was a 'con job'...

I guess next I'll read he's 'shucking and jiving'. This will be his fault shortly. Not going to stick around for it. This is a really negative board.
