7. Keith is rather unrealistic in his demands and deaf to a lot of what the President said. |
|
He's like "how" what. No one knows how to stop it which the President said. They're trying the best they can to stop it. And the President did say that in coming weeks that BP will try a new method that will hopefully stop the well. Carville in his freakiness actually heard that----I was surprised KO ignored it.

It was a fifteen minute speech and Olbermann wanted him to layout his entire plan for an oil-free America. I know Olbermann has a big head, but Jesus Christ, I didn't know it was big enough to get stuck that far up his own ass.
What a tool. He's sounding like half the crackpots here on DU.

this doesn't help the people out of work in the gulf and the poisoned wildlife. No TV anchor can swim down and plug the hole.

20. I normally like Keith and I'm sorry if I sound like a complete asshole... |
|
But it pisses me off. I knew he was going to do this because I saw his Tweet BEFORE the speech where he said it wasn't going to focus on energy independence. Keith, Hello! This wasn't a speech about energy independence. This was a speech about the Gulf. The focus was the Gulf and I believe he did what he needed to do in that regard.

14. Everyone wants something... |

I guess he could've given a 45 minute speech, which probably wouldn't have guaranteed network time, to explain every little detail of what we're going to not only do for the oil gush, but the future of American energy policy.
But would that have even been enough? He needed to explain WHAT the government was doing to stop the leak, since the media isn't even mentioning half the shit his administration has done since the leak began. Even Mr. Olbermann, who loves to hear himself speak, has been widely absent on mentioning every detail we've seen from the WH in the Gulf.
So not only did Obama need to explain what the WH has been doing, he needed to explain what they were going to do and then be so visionary to make the speech about the future of American energy independence.
Well shit. That's just insane to think he could mention all that in a timely manner.
This wasn't a speech about our energy independence. It was a speech about the Gulf and that's exactly what he focused on.

11. He's got a media mafia and republicans with a few Dems along with them against him. |
|
Most of whom are against him for personal reasons/sensationalism rather than have anything to really do with his policies.

13. All MSNBC wants to hear about is Cap and Trade. If I was Obama, I would stay away, too. |

The leak is bad enough without GE trying to make a windfall profit from the public reaction.

He is one of the very few good guys but indignation and outrage are his schtick. Without that he has nothing.
If any of the Beales of cable should interview him, it should the Rachel. She is a pro and she really gives a shit.
KO doesn't even vote.
