So Holder sitting across the table from the BP execs made them cough up the 20 B?
Seeing this is the "root" of the shakedown comment.

Biden should hit all the shows tomorrow and state, "if that is the case then I say we station Holder outside Hayward's house for a month!"

1. What an idiot. If BP didn't know we had them by the short hairs, we wouldn't
have gotten the $20 B. As it was, they tried to negotiate but I'm guessing not too hard. When you know you're guilty...

4. 20 B will NOT cover the expense and the damage ...
but it is a start.

Fortunately:

The fund does not represent a cap on BP liabilities, but will be available to satisfy legitimate claims. Further and more detailed terms regarding the establishment and operation of the claims fund and the ICF will be finalized and announced as soon as possible.

5. And how is this a bad thing? You'd think everyone would be pleased as punch
that this occurred. Oh that's right...republican losers want the President to fail at everything no matter how beneficial it might be to the country, if Obama proposed it or did it then by golly they are dead set against it.
