3. How many days?
The only real question is how many days until his insubordination is celebrated on Fox.

6. Days?
I don't think that they will wait that long.

More like minutes (or seconds).

Another DU armchair pundit that needs to do some factchecking.

9. I want in on that bet.
He's GOT to go.

Not just for the insubordination to the Commander in Chief, but also for political reasons. If he had a problem, he always had the ear of the President.

14. I think he wants out. That way he can blame his replacement and the...
administration for the outcome. I think he should be busted down in rank, and sent off to an outpost in Antartica, or some other appropriate place.

16. Exactly why he shouldn't be allowed to resign
Take a star off his shoulder and make him sink or swim with his war plan.

17. But, I appreciate the predicament the administration's in. He'll be...
pilloried by the right for being thin skinned, and he'll be pilloried by his critics, on the left, as the "wimp" McChrystal claims he is. I sort of agree that he should be commanded to stay (at a different rank) and see it through. My concern with him being forced out is, who replaces him? How long to bring that commander up to speed? Will we still be on track for withdrawal? Lots of things to consider.
