Have Republicans apologized to McChrystal yet?
Or are they opting to push for MORE GLORIOUS WAR now that their favorite warrior is back?

What's the tactic? (I've been pretty much out of the news loop today.)

3. Remember all the righteous indignation about General 'Betrayus'?
Watch for it. They're too stooped to be original about anything.

4. Howard Fineman made an interesting point on Tweety's show...
That, in the process of showing presidential authority, Obama may have actally ceded some authority - because the prez must have given Petraeus something, perhaps a more flexible timeline.

6. As he said, it was pure speculation on his part. MY speculation is that
Obama chose Petraeus because Petraeus said he will stick to Obama's schedule of starting to withdraw troops next year.

5. Why would they apologize for an Obama appointee?
Obama appointed him to be the commander in Afghanistan and I remember some opposition to the appointment at DU at the time.

12. Funny Crowly said nothing when the many Generals under
the previous administration who were asked for their honest war time advice were retired.

This is not the same thing McCrystal could have vented behind closed doors the President.....he chose another path.....of his own making.

Crowly is a Republican hack.....
