Photos: The Obama Presidency. December 3, 2009
Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Afghanistan Hearing

Committee Chairman Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) (L) and Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT) (R) listen during a hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee December 3, 2009 on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The hearing was to examine President Obama's plan to send more troops to Afghanistan.

Afghan parliament members listen to a speech by the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal, in Kabul December 3, 2009. The commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan reassured top officials on Thursday that Washington was not planning an early exit, part of a charm offensive to sell President Barack Obama's new strategy on three continents.

Jobs Forum

And here comes Mr. Suave.

"Now these two guys, see, they're here to make sure none of you are the Salahi's."

He did this the ENTIRE time....

Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich (L) talks with Office of Managment and Budget Director Peter Orszag (C) and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar before the start of the Obama administration's Jobs and Economic Growth Forum in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building December 3, 2009 in Washington, DC. The White House is billing the forum as is an opportunity for Obama and his economic team to hear from CEOs, small business owners, labor leaders and nonprofit heads about economic policy.

Geithner and Krugman (and one nervous lady in between.)

Lighting the National Tree

With Randy Jackson

"Come here little kids! No, I'm not gonna eat ya! (I'm gonna make you eat your vegetables!)"

"Now, look! Dont worry, this is a button, but it's not THE button!

"Or is it?"

"Ha ha! Just kidding!"

The Obama family admires their energy efficient bulbs!

Will AIPAC use this against him later? :)

Needs to spritz it with a little Windex, though, to bring out the sparkle. ;-)

30. Windex?
You sound like the father in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". He resolved every problem with Windex. LOL!!!

I never thought of Windex, I use jewelry cleaner.

:D

31. I took a sniff at some of the jewelry cleaner I bought at the drugstore and smelled ammonia...
Dilute ammonia is what's in Windex, which is cheaper and which I can always find, which isn't the case with the jewelry cleaner. When I was staying at a friend's this summer, she had some other kitchen degreaser, which worked as well or better--can't remember what now.

Anyhow, I get not only soap and skin oils on my diamond ring, but sun screen as well. It gets really dull, and Windex makes it sparkle, and mine is nowhere near as glam and bling as Hillary's. :D

I forgot about "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" LOL.

The only caveat I have is that I am not sure about using it on colored stones like opals, because the jewelry cleaner itself often comes with a warning not to. I tried going online to find what to use instead, but got nowhere.

9. Funny, that....
For years, I thought he was average height. I didn't realize Henry Waxman was also on the short side until fairly recently either. It's all the way they carry themselves. They're both giants to me.
