As some of you know, I work for the U.S. Census. Well today we were informed that because the project is winding down, all call centers are closing because there just aren't enough numbers to call.

But thanks to the stimulus money, our call center was kept open for the remainder of the project. Yes, it's unfortunate some people will be losing their job because of how quickly the calls were processed as completed. But this means I'll have at least a month more of work.

If it weren't for the stimulus, the project would've shut down.

I'm sure many will scoff at this - but working another month means almost an extra $1,000 for me and more resume building for another job when this one ends.

So I'm a very happy Drunk right now. :)
