1. Strikes me as false
SUSA badly bungled the CA primary poll in 2008.

13. Studying SUSA's record they appear to be pretty Accurate on Avg.

I went through all of their polls and on average they have one of the highest accurate scores of them all.
Like all polls they will be wrong from time to time but on average they are pretty close to dead on.

5. That's a very misleading poll. +/- 4.2% margin of error simply
means that they COULD be tied!

7. Nutmeg is buying the governorship
Brown seems to be missing in action, though I did read he's going to start spending some of his campaign money.

Honestly, I don't think peole in CA are paying that much attention yet. I have a friend who's running for city council and she's been going door to door. She's surprised at how many people don't even seem to know it's an election year. Our community is pretty politically awake and if people here haven't started paying attention then I can only imagine what the rest of the state is doing.

11. Yep, she's going to hit the 'Buy It Now' button
every day till the election. That idiot, Fiorina, has got enough ill-gotten money to do the same thing.

..."The time has NOW come. Only yesterday Jerry kicked it into gear.
The political moment that eager California Democrats and some curious Republicans have been waiting for has arrived: Jerry Brown has begun a visible campaign for governor."....
..."Brown strategists believed that lying low during the summer, even if risky, was their best option. Had Brown's campaign responded to each of Whitman's attack ads since June, the Brown strategists said, they would have been out of money by Labor Day, when voters traditionally start paying attention to campaigns."....

Regardless of party affiliation...the more $$ you have the higher your chances.
So if you want to be a successful politician...be rich! And once in...prepare to be rewarded and become MORE RICH! As for your constituents...F--- them...as long as you have more money for campaigning you will get re-elected.

16. Brown is saving his money for the last weeks
Judging from where his numbers are in L.A. County, I think he needs to step things up.. Whitman leading in L.A. County is more a circumstance of Brown not being very visible.
