when (if) rubio wins will Meek get blame? |
|
it will be interesting (sad) if that was to happen. But I have a feeling that is exactly what progressives (some) will do. If that does happen, I wonder if the progressives will be able to handle the backlash?

1. I think CRIST would get the blame. |
|
If he would've stayed in the Repub. party, it would've been Rubio vs. Meek.

Mainly, b/c I agree with you. Meek's failure is currently the cause of progressives. They're lack of support, is what caused this.

But in a couple of weeks, if Rubio leads in the polls, Crist and Meek will have to have a meeting where one of them will have to be man enough to drop out and throw his support to the other, so as to stop Rubio.

4. Why would Meek get the blame? Most likely Crist will get the blame |
|
and it does somehow look like Rubio will win this one. Meek is running an up and up campaign and will perhaps come out in force as we get closer to the election. Don't count him out yet, his new ad is big hit and he's starting to get recognition. I think the Dem/Indy thought (and I was one of them)that Crist should be considered since Meek's numbers were so low have faded. Mine have. Crist is not doing well and Meek is inching up. Saw nothing today but I haven't done a thorough search. Meek just might pull this out.

9. Some prominent progressive blogs and pundits |
|
were begging crist to switch parties, before he lost his primary. It was like Kendrick Meek wasn't even in the picture. Also before rubio was a threat to crist in the rethug primary, I didn't see the support for Meek's candidacy in the blogosphere.

5. Democrats who vote Crist will get the blame. |
|
All Meek needs to win is the Democratic base vote.

Don't vote for the charlatain or for Tea-Bagger Rubio. If the Dems vote as they should - Meek will win. As he should. He's the better candidate. Plus I have a soft spot for him. He's a nice guy. It was such a pleasure to meet him a few weeks ago. And it's great that his new commercials show the real likeable Kendrick.

It will wreck the parallel universe he created.
In this political and economic environment Rubio would beat Meek mano a mano handily.

15. Luckily, it's a three way race. |
|
I'm not sure what you mean by parallel universe. I'm dealing with the political reality that this election can be won with 35-40% of the vote.

14. 35% could be enough to win this race. |

In a state that splits 50/50 all Meek needs is regular Democrats.
