So, Why Doesn't Linda McMahon Have her Husband or Kids in Her Ads? |
|
Odd. So many candidates tend to parade their families out during campaigning as a way too show of their family friendly image. Not Linda. Dick Blumenthal has ads showing his family, so why not Linda? Saw this(of all place the NY Post) and found it interesting. http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/tv/what_mcmahon_campaign_won_tell_you_4sjmKOFnluVH0Bf64iSmwK

8. Oh they're just having some good ol' fashion family fun! |
|
You don't ever remember forcing one of your friends down on his knees and having him literally kiss the ass cheeks of your father?

I was told that's not a friend but Linda and Vince's son! Seriously.

in the primaries but she'll never have her son on, he's a meathead WWE type that looks like he adds anabolics to his cereal in the morning.

That picture of Vince should be on Blumenthal's ads asking"CONNECTICUT,DO YOU WANT THIS MAN AS YOUR SENATOR'S HUSBAND?" I've been wondering WHY they have not been using any of the videos of Linda. I remember over the years seeing her in a bikini in the wrestling ring(this has been within the past 5 or 6 years)Her fighting with other members of the league. Her bumping and grinding while making sexual gestures and so on. Turns out SHE and her husband own the videos. Obviously, they don't want them to service. If just one of those raunchy videos surfaced it would be very bad for her.

10. Stephanie was already in some ads here in Connecticut. That was enough, believe me. |
|
Like fingernails on a chalkboard. I grew up watching wrestling and watched it a lot in the late 90's/early 2000's when I was in college. Went to a few shows. The McMahons ARE nutty. I don't mind them as entertainment but I don't want her and her family in politics.

11. But, but Jennicut...that was all just "soap operas," didn'cha know? |
|
Blumenthal's ads are right on and devastating. The "death clauses" in the wrestler's contracts and the fact that 17 of her wrestlers under the age of 50 have died...I don't know how anyone who has seen the ads can vote for her...

13. Yes, the wrestlers were treated poorly by the McMahons. A lot of pressure to do steroids and |
|
whatnot. And the lack of caring...started when Owen Hart died and it just got worse over the years. A lot of tradedgy and a lot of accidents and deaths.

16. I'm still amazed Mik Folley (Mankind) hadn't died as well |
|
I am not a wrestling fan but did catch this crazy thing where Mankind and Undertaker was in some caged match and they got ontop of the thing and the roof broke by accident sending mik falling at least 20 feet onto his back onto a floor of tacks and nails...the dude's back was covered in blood and he broke his arm ... but yet he continued to fight on for another 30 mins while the crowd became very uneasy and chanted "Mercy" (or something to the affect of this was too much and needed ot be stopped).

17. I was at the second Hell in a Cell match in 2000 against Triple H. It was in Hartford. He retired |
|
after that but of course came back over the years from time to time. Foley was nuts. But a lot of these wrestlers gave so much to the McMahons and they have treated them like trash. I know it all to well as I used to really follow wrestling heavily 10 years ago. My husband was a big fan and got me into it. I don't watch it anymore. I'm not 22 anymore and when you have kids violence on tv is avoided pretty much all the time.
