What do y'all think about the US funding political opposition in Cuba now. (Chamber related) |

There's a real shitstorm over the foreign money pouring into US politics via the US CoC.
What say you now about the US funding of RW "dissident" parties in Cuba, who's platforms are Tea Party/GOP platforms - privatization of infrastructure (the commons), merging religion and gov't, anti choice, and "free trade"?
Is it still a wonder why foreign funded dissident parties in Cuba have no real support by the vast majority of Cubans?
It is a sovereignty issue that Cubans understand clearly.
US funding of "opposition" parties in Cuba tops 100 million /year.
Aside from the usual "Castro did this, Castro did that" flamefest, what are your thoughts on Cuba's rejection of anti sovereign activities by US paid mercenaries?

The revulsion felt here (by pro sovereignty lefties) is the same revulsion felt by the vast majority of Cubans toward US paid "dissidents".
That is why they don't get elected to any position in government. Cubans seem to know better than to support anti government candidates as their government representatives.
I hope that the US paid fake dissident supporters here on DU gain some insight relating to this issue from the US Chamber's secretive and anti sovereign activities here.
:hi:
edit: I guess that the goose/gander argument doesn't fit to some DUers - the un-rec'ers are out.
