1. Combine that with 10% of McCain voters, and thats almost zero loss of support in terms of numbers...
...of people that voted for him in 08.

2. I found a brilliant quote from someone - here it is:
;)

"Did you actually read the poll? Those who want Obama primaried are more conservative in their leanings.

It's not the liberals who want Obama primaried - it's the damn right of the party!

Democrats saying Obama should face a primary challenge tend to be less educated, less liberal and likelier to have been 2008 Clinton backers.

You people need to realize that if Obama is primaried, it's coming from the right - not the left like in 1980 with Carter.
"

6. That poll about Dems wanting him primaried was bogus
Edited on Sun Oct-31-10 01:26 PM by Nancy Waterman
It made no sense to me. A huge percentage of Democrats still support him.
I think the sample was corrupted somehow.

4. I'm sure it's BS all around...
I was just pointing out the positive spin because the negative part of it has been posted here on DU (about how half want Obama primaried).

8. I understand...
I saw those polls, too, and anyone who says that "half" of us want a primary challenge is exaggerating... it's barely 47% (according to the AP http://www.wtop.com/?nid=213&sid=2099680)

7. I want Obama to be our dude...
if we do a primary it will give ammo to the other side and we need all we can on ours especially with this election going shitty.
