My prediction for the House: GOP 218 Dems 217 |
|
The GOP wins house by narrowest of margins.

1. I say 3-4 seats, but largely agree |
|
I just want Gallup to be held responsible for its craptastic polling at this point.

2. Expect dirty recount fights |

3. I think I'd rather see 230 seats... |
|
if it's within a seat or two I won't sleep all night, lol!
If we're going to lose, then let the Pubs take the House and make asses out of themselves for the next 2 years.

6. I'd accept that margin if only to keep them from shouting "MANDATE" and "REPUDIATION" |
|
too loudly.
If they want to make asses out of themselves with it, President Obama can break out the veto pen. Unlike some, I don't think he's going to just stand there and let them unravel what it's taken all this time to achieve, however little some may think it is.

7. Ds will keep the House. I'll be surprised if the Rs pick up more than 10 seats. |

8. I appreciate your positive attitude, but you almost certainly will be surprised |
|
We picked up over 50 seats in the past two elections. That's 50 districts where its clear repubs can win elections and where there is little power of incumbency. It would be astonishing if we only lost ten seats, particularly when you add in the fact that we have a number of other districts where an incumbent is retiring.

9. Hopefully it will be a narrow Dem win |
|
It would be a big sting for Republicans in they fell short by just a few seats.
