Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin is predicting a high voter turnout
BOSTON—Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin is predicting a high voter turnout in Tuesday's elections.

Galvin said he expects turnout to top more than 2.4 million voters, rivaling the highest turnout for a non-presidential election since 1990.

Galvin said he based his prediction in part of the intense level of interest not only in the governor's race, but in other statewide races, a number of congressional contests and the three ballot questions.

He also said that a surge in requests for absentee ballots was another indication that voter turnout could be high.

As of Tuesday morning, more than 132,000 voters have requested absentee ballots.

Those unsure of where to vote can check the Massachusetts secretary of state's website.

2. Good! That means he and other Dems will get reelected
considering that MA is like 40% registered Dems and 35% Independents, most of whom lean Dem.

3. I have never been more happy to live in CT. We may be allright here in CT and Mass.
The rest of the country...who knows. Patrick looks like he will win and Blumenthal is looking good here in CT.

4. Patrick will be all right, I think.
His race won't be the first one called (that honor will go to my district and perhaps the 2nd (Rich Neal) or 3rd (Jim McGovern)), but he'll be reelected and Charlie Baker will go away until he makes his run for John Kerry's Senate seat. Which he will, because he's a goatfucker.

5. I am a bit concerned about my Rep, Chris Murphy. He is in the 5th district
and parts of it are the most conservative parts of the state. I think all our other reps will be fine.
