Why did Obama wait until it was too late to matter to hit the stump this fall? |
|
The prez SHOULD have been out on the hustings starting on Labor Day. Maybe starting in August.
Instead, he waited until almost mid-October.
What was up with THAT?
You almost wonder if he WANTED us to lose big this fall...

And people were telling him not to go campaigning. Even back in September, the question was "would it be appropriate for Obama to hit the campaign trail in the middle of a recession." Jon Stewart asked Bill Clinton that directly.
He did THREE events Saturday. People would have been happy with one. To suggest he wanted the GOP to win is asinine.

6. When its just Obama it becomes impossible no matter how much lead time. |
|
The problem i saw was that it was only Obama making pitches...not much from anyone else. I did hear a lot from Fox News and other MSM talking about slaughter a lot. And it didnt help Obama's major accomplishments were watered down and benefitted special interests more which made it difficult to point out tangible evidence of accomplishments. For example rising Insurance prices before election made Healthcare reform complete junk to pitch. If he had stuck with the Public Option instead of insisting it be removed it would have been a perfect pitch to americans.
Well, live and learn.

But Obama didn't campaign "aggressively" in IL. He did one rally. He campaigned more aggressively for Reid than Alexi and the states you mentioned aren't the only states he campaigned in.
