When the republicans hold everything hostage for tax cuts |
|
...and that is what will happen, the Democrats better not capitulate. They need to dig in and fight. The country cannot handle more GOP tax cut debt, they have already bankrupted us.

2. If the Democrats enable the supply siders... |
|
...it's over. The country cannot withstand another doubling or tripling of the national debt from supply side tax cuts, and that is exactly what will happen. The CBO says that if the Bush tax cuts are ended, we would be back in surplus by 2012. Had the Bush tax cuts never happened, we would have been in surplus until 'at least' 2007. It is not rocket science in fact it's absolutely obvious. We have two choices: Get rid of the Bush tax cuts and balance the budget or join the republicans in supply side and permenantly destroy the economy. I cannot for the life of me understand why the Democrats continue to give in to the republicans. Their ideology does not work. They have proven it over and over and every time it is the same result, massive debt dumped on us.
Im tired of the Democrats endlessly capitulating and leaving us at the mercy of these assholes.
