Republican establishment takes on Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin may have notched some political victories this past week, including a pretty good win-loss record among candidates she endorsed. But she’s also under fire for some of her recent decisions and pronouncements – in this case not from liberals, but from senior voices in her own party.

“The 43rd President has told friends the ex-Alaska governor isn't qualified to be President and criticizes Arizona Sen. John McCain for putting Palin on the 2008 GOP ticket and handing her a national platform,” New York Daily New Washington bureau chief Thomas DeFrank reported Friday.

"He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin,” a Republican official “familiar with Bush’s thinking” told DeFrank.

Karl Rove, Bush’s political mastermind, had already questioned whether Palin had the “gravitas” to be president – or even the fortitude to withstand the rigors of a long, bruising campaign.

5. I can't wait. I think she will run circles around all the other GOP nominees. I mean
the GOP make up 50% of the electorate. 25% are teabaggers and Palin has that vote locked in. So Jeb Bush, Romeny and Huckabee will have to split the difference which means Palin will be out in front from the get go. I can hardly wait.

3. Sarah is like Kay Baily Hutchison ...
She's on a CLOCK in terms of NATIONAL politics.

Just imagine why McCain picks Sarah over Kay as a VP running mate.

Kay is too old.

The GOP understands its base. Old white guys who need erectile dysfunction medication. Sarah gave them a "tingle" up their leg. Kay, with far more experience, and a better conservative track record ... not even considered. She's too old to excite the old farts.

Sarah is on the SAME CLOCK. She will be EASY to replace. Carrie Prejean, Christine O'Donnell, or some other young relatively attractive GOP woman.

There is a reason that they dress and talk the same way.

They are like the boy bands of the 80s. Or ... better, like the teen girl shows of the last 20 years. When the girl gets a little too old, she's gone, and a new show pops up.

No difference. I suspect that Sarah knows this, and she's doing what she can to CASH IN now.

4. Sarah Palin is the most qualified person to run for president!
Please Sarah, don't let them dissuade you from a run in 2012.
We want you to run! I may even vote for you! :sarcasm:
