Michelle the Maharani
Glamorous First Lady is an Indian queen at lavish state dinner

A radiant Michelle Obama stole the spotlight from her husband again at a state dinner in India on Monday night.

The First Lady shimmered in a glamorous full-length skirt cinched in with a jewel-encrusted waistband.

Unusually, she kept her toned arms covered by a pale brown top - perhaps as a gesture of respect to her Indian hosts.

2. Maybe tuxes are verboten in India? Maybe the
social staff in the WH gave the Prez the heads-up on what to wear? I just bet they're on top of this. :)

5. Oh, I'm not knocking him....
... I'm sure it would be hard, seeing the poverty that exists in that country, to then go put on a $1,000 suit and go to dinner. (And he doesn't strike me as someone who revels in the notion of a $1,000 suit anyway.)

10. Last time I looked.
Poverty exists in this country too. Perhaps the Misses should tone it down until we pull out of our depression. Jewel encrusted, you gotta be kidding me.
